In condemnation of the Thisday blasts – By Ima Niboro

I rise to condemn in unmistakable terms this morning’s bombing of the Abuja and Kaduna Offices of Thisday. This is no doubt another affront to our collective freedom and way of life. It is wicked. It is vile. It stands against all that we believe in and hold dear as a people, disparate and different though we are.

All well meaning people must arise against this threat to our nation. We must speak in one voice to condemn these acts of terror. We must unite against those that seek to rein in our freedoms; our destined greatness as a nation. Our peace.
