Reports has unveiled that three police officers attached to the Joint Task Force were shot dead on Monday evening around Yankaba quarters in Kano metropolis.
The JTF personnel who were shot to death were said to be on a stop and search operation in the area, when they were attacked by unknown gunmen.
An eye witness told Newsdiaryoline.com that the incident took place during the usual evening rush hour, as residents in the area scamper for safety.
The incident happened 24 hours after the JTF launched a house to house raid in Unguwar Uku, which led to the death of one soldier and a police officer, in the raid that was reported to have led to the death of 14 suspected gunmen.
