Reports today said there were twin blasts in the embattled city of Maiduguri.Residents of the city said the place called Green House Area (Opposite Ramat Square) was cordoned off earlier in the morning as security men began search operations ostensibly for arms.
Unofficial reports said this operation may be the source of confrontation between gun men and security operatives in the city today.
Details were still sketchy at the time of this report but official accounts are expected from the JTF spokesman.
