Tambuwal swears in 26 Commissioners, charges them on diligence

Governor Aminu Tambuwal, Friday swore in 26 commissioners as new members of the State Executive Council.
Speaking shortly after the swearing in ceremony, the governor charged them to be judicious in handling government resources as well as demonstrate exemplary leadership, steadfastness and diligence in their duties.
Tambuwal said that the appointment was based on their loyalty, merit and hard work.
The new Commissioners sworn in by Governor Tambuwal, Friday.
“We appointed people with impeccable character, and the choice is on merit. As  the chief executives of your various ministries, I want to draw your attention to the fact that the State Executive Council is the highest body to make policy for the state. You should be above board in all your endeavours and concentrate on the assigned duties,” he stated.
Advising the new commissioners to observe the principles of equity, fairness and justice as their watchwords, Tambuwal also they should ensure accountability and prudence.

Among those sworn in were Alhaji Isa Bajini Galadanci, Barrister Sulaiman Usman (SAN), Hon. Umar Bature, Alhaji Arzika Tureta, Alhaji Mohammad Sarkin Arewa, Alhaji Musa Ausa, Barrister Bello Goronyo, Alhaji Abdullahi Maigwandu and retired Col. Garba Moyi, Prof. Aisha Madawaki, Hajiya Kulu Sifawa, Hajiya Kulu Haruna, Alhaji Bashir Gidado, Malam Abdulkadir Abubakar, Alhaji Sa’idu Umar  and Alhaji Abubakar Tambuwal.
