At least 10 people were killed in a suicide bomb blast which hit Potiskum in Yobe State on Sunday,Reuters has reported.
“The bomber walked up to the house of Sabo Garbu, a member of the house of representatives in the federal government, before detonating the explosives”,the report said.It was not clear which group was behind the suicide bomb blast.
Yobe, Adamawa and Borno states are under emergency rule in the face of Boko Haram insurgency.
Earlier today,Boko Haram insurgents attempted to invade Maiduguri,Borno state,but they were ‘dislodged’, by the military.
The terrorists had also made at least two daring attempts to occupy Damaturu, Yobe State capital but they were equally repelled by the military.
