#TrackNigeria: The Election Petitions Tribunal to entertain the National Assembly, Governorship and Houses of Assembly petitions arising from the 2019 general elections in Sokoto state has received 33 petitions so far.
The Secretary of the Tribunal, Mrs Okedara Adejoke told Newsdiaryonline in an exclusive interview on Wednesday that three petitions were for the Senate, 10 for the House of Representatives and 20 for State House of Assembly.
The petition tribunal, which has Justice Yusuf Ubale as Chairman, Justices I. Wodi and Hamman Idi as members, commenced sitting on Wednesday.
Ubale who said that the tribunal had six months within which to hear the petitions, urged counsels and litigants to abide by the rules.
