The Federal Capital Territory Administration has secured toll-free lines to enable residents of the Territory reach the administration with valuable information at no cost.
Reeling out the telephone numbers to newsmen in Abuja, the Senior Special Assistant to FCT Minister on Information Management System, Hajiya Jamilah Tangaza said the measure will go a long way to tackle security challenges in the territory.
The six Etisalat and MTN toll free lines, according to her, would enable residents and members of the public to have unhindered access to the administration and bare their minds on the services rendered by the Administration.
“People can now have unhindered access to FCT Administration on any issue that would improve on our services and security matters on any of these lines.
The numbers secured from etisalat are 08099936312, 08099936313 and 08099936314 while that from the MTN are: 08031230330, 08031230332 and 08031230331 ,” Tangaza said.
She maintained that apart from security issues, the toll free lines will create a robust communication between the Administration and members of the public and called on residents to take full advantage of the service.
Tangaza also emphasized the need for the public to use the toll lines to provide useful information that will enhance good governance in the Federal Capital Territory Administration in line with the Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
The free call access is open to everybody irrespective of network and location in the country.
