The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is leading in the four Local Government Areas resulted so far announced in INEC State headquarters in Enugu on Sunday.
The four council areas of the 17 LGAs in the state are Enugu South, Aninri, Ezeagu and Enugu North.
In Enugu South council area, the presidential results as announced by the council INEC Collation Officer, Prof. Paul Onwuasoanya, said that PDP scored 25, 631 votes, APC polled 2,350 votes, YPP 245, APGA 84 and PPA 25.
Onwuasoanya said that there were 30,494 accredited voters, while a total valid vote cast was 28,856 with 1,638 invalid votes.
In Aninri LGA, the Collation Officer, Dr Kasie Ugwu said that PDP polled 19,062 votes; APC scored 1,462 votes, APGA got 251 and PPA scored 30.
Ugwu said that those accredited to vote was 22,185 while total votes cast was 21,973 and invalid votes 864.
In Ezeagu, the Presidential results as announced by the council INEC Collation Officer, Dr Jonas Ejike, said that PDP got 15,526 votes, APC gathered 3,103 votes; APGA 166 and APDA 21.
Ejike said that a total number of 19,909 voters were accredited for the polls in the council area.
In Enugu North council area, the Collation Officer, Prof. Nnayelugo Okoro, said that PDP got 24, 921 votes; APC had 1,825 votes; YPP 284, APGA 33 and APDA 32.
Okoro said that a total of 29,611 votes were cast while 27,920 valid votes were recorded with 1,691 void votes. (NAN)
