The Chairman, Transition Council, Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State, Alhaji Sufiyanu Igbafen, the entire member of staff and People of the Local Government has sent a message of congratulations to Comrade Governor, Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole and Dr. Pius Odubu on their well deserved landslide victory on July 14, 2012 gubernatorial election of Edo State.
In his letter to Governor Oshiomhole, Alhaji Igbafen said: ‘‘your re-election is a clear expression and resolve of the people to continue to identify with your purposeful and dynamic leadership that has brought unprecedented development across the length and breadth of Edo State’’. ‘‘Your victory is also an affirmation of the people’s belief in participatory democracy as opposed to politics of imposition. I wish to use this medium to re-emphasize the unflinching loyalty and support of the people of Owan East Local Government towards the success of your Administration’’.
Alhaji Igbafen prayed God to continue to grant Governor Oshiomhole the strength, wisdom and protection as he continues to steer the state to further heights.
