The Nigerian Army, has said its troops repelled attacks by the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP), in Monguno town of Borno State.
Reports say the troops engaged the insurgents, who in large numbers, invaded the town on Saturday.
According to reports by ChannelsTV, Nganzai and Gubio local government areas, were also attacked at the same time.
