As part of its reaction to the attack and burning of dozens of travellers to death in Sokoto State, the Coalition of Northern Groups says it has mobilzed to the state vowing to extract justice for the innocent victims.
Confirming the development, Spokesperson for the CNG, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman said the entire leadership of the Coalition from all the 19 Northern states have arrived Sokoto.
“We are here to engage families of the victims, the endangered communities in Sokoto and Kebbi, religious clerics and other civil society groups to discuss urgent practical action plan to force government to act.
“Action may not preclude mass protests and prolonged civil disobedience to send the message to government that the game is up and the patience of northerners has reached its nadir,” CNG said.
