Former Governor of Abia State and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Orji Kalu has commiserated with Chairman of Niger Delta Development Corporation (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma- Egba over the passing of his mother, Elder (Mrs) Adeline Ndoma- Egba.
According to Kalu, Elder (Mrs) Ndoma-Egba was a devout Christian, community leader and a role model for the womenfolk.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Kunle Oyewumi, Kalu acknowledged the selfless qualities of the deceased.
He said, “I received with pain the news of the passing of Elder (Mrs) Adeline Ndoma-Egba, mother of my brother and friend, Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba.
“She was a woman of great character.
” Mama lived a purposeful life dedicated to God and humanity.
“Above all, she left behind good children to uphold her remarkable legacies.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ndoma -Egba family during this difficult period.
Kalu also extended his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Cross River state over the demise of the nonagenarian.
