The Chief Engineering and Technical Services Officer of Kaduna
Electric, Engr. Bello Musa has called on Kaduna,Sokoto,Kebbi & Zamfara state governments to cooperate with the company for better service delivery.
He made the call in his office this week when he received the Sokoto state Commissioner of the Ministry for Energy Development, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Goronyo who paid a courtesy visit to the
Company.
Bello stated that the dividend of privatization could be better
achieved if the Company, State Governments in its franchise area,
customers and other stakeholders discharged their obligations more
diligently.
He appealed to the Commissioner “to use his good office in
mobilizing electricity users in Sokoto State to be settling their
bills promptly as this is the only way the Company will generate the
needed resources for network rehabilitation and expansion”.
Bello pledged the Company’s readiness to make the necessary investments that would guarantee stable and qualitative power supply to the customers.
In his response, Goronyo commended Kaduna Electric for its effort
in ensuring steady power supply in the State and pledged to work with
the Kaduna Electric team for improved service delivery.
They both promised to hold a high level discussions where issues of common concern and interest shall be discussed by the two parties.
