Commending the people giving him another chance to serve the state, the governor called on the opposition parties to see his reelection as an act of God.

“I won on March 9th with a margin of 3,413 votes but INEC declared the election inconclusive. At the rerun, I won with 342 votes, which is 10 percent of the earlier winning margin and INEC declared me the winner. This is from God and no one should fight an act of God,” Tambuwal emphasised.

He commended INEC for ensuring free, fair and credible election in the state as well as stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders for resisting intimidation during the rerun election.
