Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu of Niger State has commiserated with the Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Barr Tanko Beji over the death of his wife, Binta on Wednesday.
In a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Danladi Ndayebo, Governor Aliyu enjoined Barrister Beji and members of his family to be encouraged by the fact that although his wife died at a young age, she lived an inspiring and a fulfilled life.
Governor Aliyu said life was not about how long people lived, but how people impacted positively on the environment around them. He emphasized that although the late Binta lived a relatively short life, she brought change to her immediate familyand her community during her sojourn on this side of the divide.
The statement urged Barrister Beji not be discouraged by the untimely death, but should forge ahead with the enormous task of providing guidance to the members of the PDP and the people of the state at large. The statement said the best tribute the deputy chairman can pay to the memory of the departed is for him to continue to touch more lives positively, more than he has
done in the past. Governor Aliyu prayed to God to give Barrister Beji and the members of his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and to grant eternal rest to the soul of the departed.
