Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has approved the appointments of some managing directors of government agencies just as he named more special advisers on Wednesday.
The list of newly appointed people include: Lawal Abdullahi Ken Ken, Kano State Zoological Garden &Wildlife Management Agency, Managing Director; Engr. Auwalu Mohd. Galadanchi ,Kano State Water Board, Managing Director; Sani Abdullahi Kofar Mata ,Mohammed Abubakar Rimi Market Company Ltd., Managing Director; Hon. Umar Kibiya ,State Universal Education Board, SUBEB ,Permanent Member I; Baba Musa Saleh, State Universal Education Board, SUBEB, Permanent Member II and Engr. Aminu Aliyu ,Kano Roads Maintenance Agency, KARMA, Managing Director.
Others are Abdullahi Abbas ,Special Adviser, Political; Ibrahim Mohammed Kankarofi, Special Adviser ,Governmental Affairs, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, Special Adviser, Special Duties; Ali Baba Agamalaafiya Fagge, Special Adviser ,Religious Affairs and Engr. Hamisu Abubakar Lambu, Special Adviser, Power and Energy.
The statement signed by Baba Halilu Dantiye director general Media and Communication to the governor also announced the following appointments: Dr. Adam Baba Impossible, Guidance and Counseling Board, Exec. Secretary; Yahaya Garun Ali, Rural Water Supply Agency, RUWASA, Managing Director and Mal. Sani Abdullahi Tofa, Shari’a Commission, Director General.
While congratulating the new appointees Gov. Ganduje urged them to be dedicated in their duties and ensure that the goals of this administration of ensuring welfare and quality service to the people of Kano are achieved.
