The curfew imposed on Wukari on Friday entered its second day today.The Taraba state government imposed a curfew on Wukari Friday after violence erupted curiously over disagreement about a funeral procession.
The disagreement snowballed into an ethno-religious conflict as Christians and Muslims clashed furiously .The police reportedly confirmed at least 30 people dead in the latest conflict.Several homes were destroyed as well.
About three months ago, a disagreement over led to carnage in the same Wukari.But Police said today that calm has been restored.So far it appears like an uneasy calm
