The International Police Chaplain for Sustainable Development and Law Enforcement, has pledged technical support for the Nigeria Police and INEC for the Saturday’s Edo governorship election.
Mr Blessing Akinlosoto, the group’s Regional Coordinator, said this, in a statement, on Friday in Abuja, shortly after his appointment as the group’s African Head for the election observation mission in Nigeria.
Akinlosoto said that he would personally lead the troops to Edo state as an observer for the election following its accreditation by INEC.
Akinlosoto expressed confidence in upholding the integrity of the electoral process, reinforcing the importance of transparency and accountability in ensuring a fair and credible election
He said that his team would work tirelessly to support the electoral umpires and ensure a smooth and proper execution of the observation mission.
The organisation is an American Non-profit Organisation based in the US and focused on charitable, religious, scientific and educational purposes for the promotion and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).(NAN)(
