Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso campaign organization has expressed appreciation to all Nigerians especially the state coordinator of organization, the national delegates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to the party’s third convention and entire members of the party for their support for the governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso at the Taslim Balogun Station, Lagos for the party’s presidential primaries.
This was contained in a statement signed by the chairman of the organisation, Senator Saidu Dansadau and made available to newsdiaryonline.In the statement, the chairman said that the support given to the governor attest that Nigerians are appreciative of his sound leadership quality. He added that coming second behind the eventual winner, General Muhammadu Buhari indicates that the governor is a presidential material. He said that the result was encouraging adding that democracy is gaining ground in the country as the governor’s achievement in the commercial nerve state in the north has spoken volume by the result.
Senator Dansadau thanked the party’s the leadership of the party and the electoral committee for the transparency and maturity shown in the primary. He said that the level of internal democracy displayed in the party’s convention shows that the APC is actually out to salvage the country. He further said that dousing fear that the result of the primary will break the party further showed that there is hope at the end of the tunnel for the country.
The Kwankwaso campaign organisation appealed to supporters of the Kano governor to keep faith with party adding that the final battle remains to elect the party at the forth coming general election. The organisation also appeals to Nigerians to exercise their civic responsibility of voting and not allowed to be disenfranchised. It is said that Nigerians should ensure that they get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) and those that are not registered should do so to ensure that the 2015 election usher in the change the Nigerians are yearning for. The organisation expresses hope that whenever the need arises again for the delegates to rally round them, the yield to the calling. It wishes the country a successful election year devoid of rancour and hostilities.
