President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with public administrator, engineer and former Minister of Science and Technology, retired Maj.-Gen. Sam Momah, on his 75th birthday.
Buhari in a congratulatory message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, joined all family members, friends and professional colleagues in celebrating the highly resourceful former military officer.
The president noted that Momah, who was a former Chief Administrator and Adjutant General of the Nigerian Army, was an inspiration to many officers.
He congratulated the former minister for his many achievements, including honours during his 36 years in the army.
According to him, this include the recognitions for his brilliance and contribution to knowledge and strengthening of the Nigerian education system as Director of National War College, member of the Governing Council of University of Jos, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and Fellow, Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Uwana.
The president also saluted Momah’s strong sense of patriotism as he fearlessly and consistently advocated for good governance in Nigeria, using his knowledge to advise on the best ways to diversify the economy.
Buhari prayed that the almighty God would give the retired military officer longer life and good health. (NAN)
