#TrackNigeria – Yola, March 18, 2019 (NAN) The Buhari administration has been lauded for its commitment to accountability by constituting the Audit Committee on Federal Government policies, programmes and projects.
An elder statesman and former Acting General Manager, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund,(NSITF), Mr Titus Kabu, gave the commendation on Monday while speaking with newsmen in Yola.
Kabu said that the committee, under the chairmanship of the Vice President, Yomi Osibanjo, showed the level of the administration’s seriousness to ensure probity and accountability in governance.
Accoerding to Kabu, Osibanjo is a capable hand that has what it takes to handle the important assignment that will keep the administration focus.
Kabu also lauded the appointment of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha as head of 2019 Presidential Inauguration Committee.
He said Mustapha was not only a credible hand but also a good ambassador of Adamawa in the administration which had the confidence of “Mr President. “
“For a man who was once called upon to round off the PTF project, started by Buhari and given his political pedigree, it shows that Boss Mustapha is equal to the task.”
Kabu urged Nigerians to accord Buhari administration the needed support and cooperation to consolidate to enable it do more in its second term. (NAN)
