Reports reaching Newsdiaryonline said Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam and his convoy were involved a ghastly road accident today.
Newsdiaryonline sources who described the accident “s serious” also said governor was “unhurt” in the accident.
Sources said the governors vehicle and those of his security were “badly,badly damaged but the governor himself was unhurt”
One of the governor’s aides who spoke anonymously confirmed the accident to Newsdiaryonline.He said the accident occurred while the governor was on his way to Gboko in the state to flag off a road project.
The associate also confirmed that the governor was unhurt but the “vehicles were seriously damaged”.
