Breaking: Buhari leaves Calabar for Jos

President Muhammad Buhari is in Jos, Plateau state to commiserate with the people and government of the state over the killings that has so far claimed so many lives.

The President’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad told journalists that the President would leave the Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar for Jos.

“President Mohammadu Buhari leaving the Margaret Ekpo International Airport for Jos Plateau State,” he said.

The Presidential Jet landed at the Yakubu Gowon airport at Heipang, in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau State.

Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong, his deputy Prof. Sonnie Tyoden and security chiefs in the state received the President, who is expected to be briefed by both heads of security agencies and government officials on the crisis situation.

Buhari was earlier in Cross River state to commission the Calabar Rice Automated Seeds and seedling plant.
