Nigeria’s Aviation Ministry has reopened Benin airport.The airport was shut down temporarily after a trainer aircraft skidded off the run way on Thursday morning. Reports said it was a military aircraft on training that crash landed today.Experts said the military training plane did what is called belly landing .
However, no life was lost.And aviation regulators have declared the airport safe for normal flights to resume.
The Benin air mishap was first incident months after the deadly Dana air crash in Lagos.Over 150 people were killed in the Dana crash.
