A report on NTA this evening said one of the wings of an Arik aircraft which was about to take off hit a Nigerian Airforce plane at the Jos Airport Saturday afternoon.
The report said the two planes could not fly after the accident and there was no casualty in the aftermath of the mishap.
The Nigerian Airforce C-130 plane which was hit by Arik Airlines was in Jos on assignment to airlift students of its Military School.
Aviation authorities have begun investigations into the incident.This accident involving a commercial airline occurred just as Nigerians are yet to recover from the shocking crash of Dana Air plane in Lagos last month.
