Reports reaching Newsdiaryonline.com Thursday said a bomb was found at Dunamis Church Nyanya ,a surburb of Abuja.
’The bomb did not explode contrary to the rumour earlier.The anti bomb squad went and swiftly picked it up’ a source said.
It was the timely intervention of the anti bomb squad that saved the situation,our source said.
Media reports quoted Mr Godstime Asuquo, head of the technical unit of the church who confirmed that it was the officials FCT Anti -bomb squad who swiftly denoted the bomb after they were contacted.
Asuquo reportedly added,“As we are preparing for another prayer meeting this evening, the church is planning to recruit more security personnel to ensure the safety of lives in the church, this incident cannot send our members away, all hands are on deck to curb the situation”.
