The delegates at the national convention of the All Progressives Congress,APC have affirmed President Muhammadu Buhari as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2019 general elections.
According to the tally of votes from the direct primaries held at various states, President Muhammadu Buhari scored over 14 million votes.
The figure was affirmed at the convention in Abuja Saturday night.
It is noteworthy that prior to his affirmation, Buhari was the sole presidential candidate of the party.
Buhari eventually accepted his nomination as the presidential candidate at convention.
