Iran could resume its 20 per cent uranium enrichment, according to Akbar Salehi, Head of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI).
The country can do so if the European signatories to the 2015 nuclear deal failed to keep it alive following Washington’s withdrawal, Salehi said on Saturday.
“If the other side keeps itself committed to its promises we also will be keeping ourselves to our promises.
“Our policy is to wait and see now for just a few weeks’ time.
“There are all kinds of possibilities, we can start the 20per cent enrichment,’’ he told reporters. (Reuters/NAN)
