Senator Hope Uzodinma will deliver the keynote address at this year’s NUJ Abuja press week with the Theme: Journalism and the Nationalism Question.
A statement by the Chairman of the press week committee, comrade Victorson Agbenson said Senator Uzodinma’s choice was informed by his leadership qualities which have distinguished him as a legislator since the return to democracy.
According to Comrade Agbenson, an international diplomat and businessman, Ambassador Douglas Owen-Ali is also expected to deliver a lecture at the event to be hosted by the FCT minister, Mallam Muhammed Bello.
Also,the Kaduna state Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai will speak on restructuring and the way forward for the nation.
The press week would feature presentation of awards to various individuals and organizations that have excelled in different fields.
The statement added that the event is expected to attract economic and political experts as well as professionals and intellectuals from within and outside the country.
The main event which is the Lecture , Dinner And Award Nigh is scheduled for 5pm on the 28th of October 2017 at Sheraton Hotels Abuja.
