While some have taken refuge in male hostels others  are believed to have joined their female friends in the various hostels .

Our correspondent said the flood may have been  caused by lack of good drainage system and that the week long downpour  led to the flood which ravaged the female hostel.

Already, the Dean Students Affairs Prof. Rotgak Gofwen, hostel supervisor Mr. M – Ibrahim and Physical Facilities have visited the scene.   They  described the situation as unfortunate and appealed to the student to be calm as the University’s authority was doing everything possible to avert a recurrence.
