Nigerian news site, Newsdiaryonline.com recorded over 29,366,230 page hits in 2014, according to figures provided by the hosting company.
The figures also showed that an additional 11,564,293 hits have been recorded for Newsdiaryonline between January and May 2015. In the first 4 months of 2015 over 3million hits were recorded in the US and Nigeria respectively ,while over 2million hits were recorded from the UK.(See graph)

The social metrics provided also showed that there were 306,825 unique visitors to the site in 2014 .The unique visitors mean people that had never heard of the site but visited it for the first time.
Newsdiaryonline is active on twitter with over 8000 followers. There are over 20,000 fans on its facebook page. And the site’s Linkedin page has over 3000 direct connections. The way linkedin works, there are about 14million professionals In the site’s Linkedin network.
Newsdiaronline’s google+ page is also very active . Equally , Newsdiaryonline’s youtube channel provides the followers with unique videos and interview contents.
The statistic also showed that aside Nigeria, people in the US ,UK and Spain are among the highest visitors to Newsdiaryonline in 2014.
Between January and April,there have been more visitors to the Nigerian news site, Newsdiaryonline from the US, UK and Finland than even Nigerians per month.
The statistics also showed that though we have very strong number of Nigerian visitors, for every 10 visitors to the site,7 are non Nigerians.
