EFCC Quizzes Provost Over N130m Fraud

rp_efcc-11-150x150.jpgThe acting provost of the Federal College of Agriculture, Isiagu, Ebonyi State Dr. Felix Aneabunwa and Mr. Ndubuaku T. C., Head of Planning Unit have been quizzed by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over an alleged case of forgery and stealing to the tune of N130million

The suspects  are alleged  to have used forged documents to steal the sum  meant for the running of the institution “through illegal deductions from staff salaries, falsification of vouchers/ invoices with mutilated and irregular signatories,  illegal award of contracts to fake companies and fraudulent payment of fictitious supplies and spending of N123,000,000.00( One Hundred and Twenty Three Million Naira) for the 2013 projects without following due process.”

They are also alleged to have misapplied the N58, 000,000(Fifty Eight Million Naira) appropriated for the training of one thousand youths/ farmers in Ebonyi and Imo States.

The suspect have been admitted to administrative bail, while investigation continues.
