(Updated) The spate of bomb explosions in Azare town in Bauchi state has continued with another blast Sunday evening in a place described as a phone village.
It was later learnt that at least 10 people were killed in the blast , while 56 others were injured.But the death toll could rise.
“It is like Phone village, like computer computer village in Lagos .Relatively the place is a busy area,so we fear the casualty may be significant”, Newsdiaryonline was told.
There is complete shock over the endless string of explosions.One resident of the state said it is surprising because the military had flushed the insurgents out of the forest.Why this is still going on despite theb effort of the military remains surprising, he said.
“This is like the third or so explosion in the area in about a month.The thing is surprising”, the observer said.
