PDP Apologizes to South East Governors ,Others Over Omission From List

The Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP has apologized to some governors from the South East zone and stakeholders of the party over the omission of their names from the zonal integration committee list. The Governors affected include Theodore Orji of Abia state, Martin Elechi of Ebonyi state and Sullivan Chime of Enugu state.
PDP spokesman, Chief Olisa Metuh said Thursday that “The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wishes to apologize to the leaders and critical stakeholders of the party in the South East geo-political zone for the unintended omissions in the published list of the PDP Zonal Integration Committee.
The statement further noted that “Particularly, the national leadership apologizes to the Chairman of South-East Governors’ Forum, His Excellency, Governor Theodore Orji of Abia state who we have immense respect for. We also apologize to the humble and mature Governor of Ebonyi state, His Excellency, Governor Martin Elechi and the hard-working Governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Governor Sullivan Chime on behalf of our entire members and stakeholders in the South East.
“In the light of the foregoing, the following leaders are hereby specially included in the list.
“They are: His Excellency, Governor Theodore Orji, the Executive Governor of Abia state and Chairman, South East Governors’ Forum; His Excellency, Governor Martin Elechi, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi state; His Excellency, Governor Sullivan, the Executive Governor of Enugu state; His Excellency, Chief Jim Nwobodo, former Governor of Old Anambra State and Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu, former National Vice Chairman, South East zone.”
