Mr Danladi Jatau, a former Nasarawa State House of Assembly Minority Leader, has assured the All Progressives Congress (APC) of his readiness to mobilise support for the party beyond 2023.
Jatau, who recently defected from the PDP to the APC, is representing
Kokona West constituency.
He pledged the support when he led Eggon APC stakeholders in Kokona Local Government Area on a courtesy visit to Dr John Mamman, the state APC Chairman.
Jatau, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Public Complaints, Petitions and Security, said that the visit was to assure the party leadership of their support to Gov. Abdullahi Sule and the APC beyond 2023 in the state.
“As you can see Sir, this is Eggon APC community in Kokona Local Government Area of the state.
“We are here to assure you of our total support to His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, and the party beyond 2023.
“I will continue to mobilise support for the party beyond 2023.
“And by the special grace of God, APC will continue to win beyond 2023,” he said.
Jatau commended the governor over his developmental strides across the state.
“I want to commend His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule over his purposeful and all inclusive governance in the state.
“His Excellency developmental strides has impacted and still impacting on the lives of the people of the state positively.
“I want to assure His Excellency of our total support to him beyond 2023 in the state,” he added.
Jatau also appreciated Sule for appointing one of his constituent, Mr Maikasuwa Audu as his Personal Assistant (PA).
He therefore called on the people of the state to continue to support the governor beyond 2023.
Besides, the lawmaker urged the people of the state to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities, live in peace and tolerate one another for development to thrive.
Responding, Mamman appreciated Jatau and Eggon community in the area for the visit.
He urged them to continue to support thevpresent APC administration at all levels to succeed in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
The APC chairman also called on the Eggon people to unite, embrace peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations in their interest and for the overall development of the state and the country at large. (NAN)
