KADInvest: Guests’ remarks excites Uba Sani

The Senator-in-waiting for Kaduna Central, Malam Uba Sani has said that the remarks by participating dignitaries at the ongoing fourth edition of the Kaduna Economic and Investment Summit (KADInvest 4) were as encouraging as they were refreshing.

Noting that remarks by such eminent business moguls as Alhaji Aliko Dangote were a clear vindication of the Kaduna State Governor Nasir Elrufai’s selfless commitment to fast racking the industrial development of the state.

He said the guests’ acknowledgment of Governor Elrufai’s effort at retracking the lost economic direction of the state through stimulating global investment veins was a further reassurance to the government and people of Kaduna state.

“It is delighting to see how the Summit got off on a very good note and is proceeding as envisaged with notable investors from Nigeria and beyond commending the giant strides of the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El Rufai and members of his team.

“Guests have been full of praises for Mallam El Rufai for etching Kaduna topmost in the World Bank’s ranking of States in the ease of doing business index. In particular, Africa’s richest man and foremost industrialist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the Chairman of the Dangote Group, who was the keynote speaker at the Summit had very kind and encouraging words for the Kaduna State Government.

“Particularly encouraging was Dangote’s acknowledgment that the Governor’s drive in attracting private investment worth billions of dollars from the private sector remains the best engine to drive economic development and job creation,” he said.

The Senator-elect expressed gratitude at President Muhammadu Buhari’s goodwill message which hinted at the determined efforts of Kaduna state government in its bid to become Nigeria’s best investment destination and noted that El Rufai surmounted huge odds given the intense global competition for investment funds.

“Most importantly, Mr. President promised  to accord priority to the implementation of the economic recovery and growth plan in the State,” he said.

He also showered gratitude to the Executive Vice Chairman of the National Communication Commission, Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, who “described Governor El-Rufai as a pace setter that should be emulated by other governors.”
