UNIMAID congratulates Bogoro on re-instatement as TETFund boss

The Vice Chancellor, University of Maiduguri, Prof. Ibrahim Njodi has congratulated Prof. Suleiman Bogoro, on his re-instatement as Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

Dr Jacob Alade, Director, Public Affairs, TETFund, in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, said Njodi congratulated Bogoro during a courtesy visit to TETFund).

Njodi said UNIMAID recognised Bogoro’s leadership qualities noting that his unprecedented recall to serve at the Fund by President Muhammadu Buhari, was a confirmation of the confidence Nigerians had in his administrative and managerial acumen.

The Vice Chancellor said the university was proud of Bogoro’s re-instatement, being an alumnus of the university and pledged its continued support.

Bogoro in his response thanked the Vice Chancellor for the visit, noting that the large delegation to TETFund not only made him emotional, but also evoked a feeling of nostalgia remembering his days as a student at the University.

He noted that his return to TETFund was with a renewed vigour to serve the Fund and the country at large.

He assured the Vice Chancellor of his continued support to the University within the ambit of the law, and urged the institution to maintain its excellent performance in the utilisation of intervention funds.

Bogoro commended the Vice Chancellor of the University and his management team for their promptness in accessing their yearly allocations, a feat which he noted many beneficiary institutions were struggling to achieve.

Bogoro was re-instated as the Executive Secretary of TETFund on Jan. 21, by President Muhammadu Buhari and took over from Dr Abdullahi Baffa. (NAN)
