A renowned business man Alh Umar Gote has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to replace Hadiza Bala Usman with Alhaji Sani Shaaban.
The business mogul who claimed that Shaaban was more charismatic, generous and capable for the job, added that Buhari should, as a matter of urgency, sack Hadiza.
“Shaaban’s popularity is growing day by day, if he eventually succeeded the NPA Boss surely everybody will see the difference between a political merchant in search of capital and indigenous, humble and principles man. Given Shaaban this job will surely pave way for Buhari’s reelection. He has the capacity, he controls the electorate not even in Kaduna but Zaria and Kano. With Sani Shaaban at the helm of affairs NPA will attract more opportunities.
He called on the the president to investigate the alleged $2 million bribe said to have been doled to Oshiohmole.
Newsdiaryonline however recalls that Hadiza has denied the $2m bribery allegation. She has also threatened to take legal action against Sahara Reporters which broke the story.
“As it stands now, Shaaban has the overwhelming support of more than 70 percent of electorates in Kaduna and beyond. So with him as the NPA boss, I’m of the view after reforming the NPA he will carry people along, unlike what is happening now. A stich in time saves nine,” Gote said.
