Outgoing boss of the Federal Road Safety Corps,Mr Osita Chidoka has been confirmed by the Nigerian Senate as a minister.
Also confirmed on Wednesday is Mr Olanrewaju Abubakar a university lecturer.
It is generally expected that they will be sworn in an assigned with portfolio next by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Chidoka’s nomination had drawn attention to the seeming fact that former Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State had lost out in his speculated bid to be a minister after leaving office as governor.
