PDP convention: Adeniran promises to re-position party for victory in 2019

Prof. Tunde Adeniran, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , an aspirant for National Chairman position in the forthcoming National Convention has promised to re-position the party to ensure its victory in 2019 general elections, if elected.

Adeniran made the promise in an interview journalists in Gombe on Thursday, shortly he met with the delegates of the party in the state.

He said that the he visited Gombe to interact with the delegates on the forthcoming National convention scheduled for Dec. 9 in Abuja.

According to him, his visit is also to give them the chance to make intelligent choice during convention, based on facts and figures, what they had seen and what they were expecting.

“We intend to re-position the party for the good of the party and mobilise it to win power in 2019 general elections.

‘’We are praying and working that by the grace of God, in 2019, we will win more states than any other party and the presidency,” he said.

According to him, if the party is re-position, it will function as expected for its success by 2019 general elections.

“We identify some of the problems of the party and we are correcting them.We will ensure we correct them when we are in the position to ensure internal democracy.
That as much as possible we do what is right and just, what is equitable and fear and justice will never be compromised.

“Above all, we will take the motto of our party very seriously; we believe that power must go to the people, every vote must count in whatever election up to the national election.”

Adeniran also promised to ensure unity and harmony of the party, to ensure its members work as one family and bring back the aggrieved members among others. (NAN)
