Nyako Visits Mubi Bomb Blast Victims

Murtala-Nyako_trends.com_.ng 600Governor Murtala Nyako has visited the victims of the Sunday bomb blast in Kabang Mubi South Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The Governor who was visibly outraged by the occurrence visited General Hospital Mubi where most of the injured victims were receiving treatment. He ordered the Hospital authorities to provide free treatment to all the victims of the bomb blast.
A press release t by Ahmed Sajoh,Nyako’s spokesman said the Governor was taken round the Hospital by the Hospital Secretary Alh. Halilu Abba, as the Principal Medical Officer was in the Theatre attending to some of the victims who were in critical conditions. According to the Hospital Secretary, they have a record of 14 deaths made up of 13 males and one female, while 12 people are on admission. Several others had been treated at the outpatients Department.
At the Emir’s Palace Governor Nyako commiserated with His Royal Highness the Emir of Mub,i Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu on the sad occurrence in his domain. The governor assured the Emir of the readiness of the State Government to support the people at all times. He joined the Emir in praying for the return of peace in the State and the nation. Also,he requested the Emir to send his sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
Responding, the Emir, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu expressed appreciation to the governor and prayed for the victims.
The blast which occurred on Sunday the 1st of June, 2014 had shattered the relative peace enjoyed in the town of Mubi which is one of the areas with a 7pm to 5 a.m. curfew in Adamawa State.
