Latest reports from Kaduna said the death toll in Wednesday’s bomb explosion in Kaduna has risen to over 70.Our correspondent said the explosion at Alkali road alone killed about 25 people, far higher than the initial figure of 13.
Also, he said unofficial sources said about 62 people were killed by the second explosion in Kawo.Fresh reports have said General Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy was targeted at Kawo Kaduna.
First Report:
At least 25 people have been reported killed as two bomb explosions rocked Kaduna metropolis Wednesday.
The first explosion occurred along Alkali road .About 13 people were feared killed in that blast which seemed targeted at the convoy of a prominent cleric, Sheik Dahiru Bauchi .
Soon after the first explosion ,a second explosion went off in Kawo area of the metropolis .The second bomb was reportedly concealed in a Volkswagen Golf car.
