The Bukola Saraki – led Senate has at last passed the Petroleum Industry and Governance Bill (PIGB).
Efforts to pass the bill before now failed. The bill is aimed at reforming the oil and gas sector of Nigerian economy.
A new regulatory agency will be established for the sector.
