The Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB) has   commended Chief Femi Fani-Kayode,Former Aviation Minister and Ayodele Fayose , the Governor of Ekiti State for their revolutionary and resilient voices for the voiceless and IPOB.

A statement by its spokesman, Emma Powerful made available to Newsdiaryonline  noted that “it is very commendable that Fani-Kayode and Ayo Fayose of Yoruba extraction have been fearlessly and vigorously condemning the proscription and categorization of IPOB as a terrorist organization unlike our so many Igbo elites and South East governors who kept mute in the of massive killings of their people by the Nigeria army.

” Ekiti State governor who has been steadfast and courageous in this struggle, is a motivator for the mighty. Fayose is a single opposition entity known to be giving President Muhammadu Buhari insomnia is loved by the IPOB and Igbos. “We commend his solidarity and concern. If our South East governors should emulate him, the Nigerian
army would not have invaded South East for genocidal mission.” Powerful said.

He further explained that Fani-Kayode who is known as the Tiger of the West has demonstrated passionate love for the Igbos and IPOB
and  gives his undiluted voices to the people who have quests for self determination. He became a closed friend to Nnamdi Kanu during their incarceration at Kuje Prison where Kanu apologetically recanted all his personal unpleasant views about the Yorubas before him. We commend Fani’s impeccable advocacy  and battle.

“We appreciate and commend the voice of Oni of Ife, OPC, Bola Tinubu, Femi Falana, and more importantly the Senate President, Bukola Saraki. This uncommon chemistry of solidarity and love must be appreciated and reciprocated in good faith. The mass execution of members of IPOB would have been slotted under the cover of Operation Python Dance 11, if not for the quick intervention of the Senate President and his colleagues”

The group pledged to cooperate with any Commission of inquiring or panel set up by the Senate to ascertain what truly transpired before, during and after the Operation Python Dance 11. The statement reads:

” That lawmakers’  (refusal) to be cowed into submission to tag IPOB a terrorist  and unlawful organization under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should be applauded by all lovers of freedom around the World. It represents the triumph of freedom of speech and association over tyranny, brute force and dictatorial tendencies.

“Having demonstrated this rare courage in the face of overwhelming tyranny and oppression, we, the IPOB members would gladly welcome any fact finding mission the lawmakers may consider necessary under this circumstance without prejudicing the outcome of this or any other Senate inquiring. We see this, as a welcome opportunity to demonstrate to all and sundry that IPOB is never, can never, and will never bear arms against anybody or state. This is a golden opportunity for Nigerian lawmakers to  establish the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We strongly urge the National Assembly to investigate the activities of IPOB thoroughly because we have nothing to fear. They should also look into the mass killings of unarmed innocent civilians in Afaraukwu Umuahia and Aba in the ongoing military occupation of South

” We are also calling on the United Nation ( UN), European Union (EU), African Union ( AU), ECOWAS, Amnesty International and Human Rights to probe IPOB,” Powerful said.
