#TrackNigeria: Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), again on Monday clashed with security agencies around Federal Secretariat in Abuja.
Recall that only last week, the same group protested at the National Assembly to press for the release of their detained leader, Ibrahim El- Zakzaky.
Their attempt for continued protest was resisted by the police shot in the air to unsettle them.
Passers-by and workers were thrown into panic around the area as they ran away from the scene to avoid stray bullets.
Although no life was said to have been lost initially, reports later said a top police officer was killed.
