The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has declared Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC as the winner of Osun State governorship election. APC polled 255,505 votes.
INEC declared the result late Thursday night after collating and announcing the results of the supplementary elections in the state.
APC’s Oyetola defeated his main rival, Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP who polled 255,023 votes
A total of 48 candidates of different political parties participated in the Osun gubernatorial elections.
