The newly elected State and Local Governments executives of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa were on Monday formally inaugurated.

The inauguration ceremony was conducted at the state APC secretariat in Yola by a Notary Public, Mr Aji Kamale.

Speaking on behalf of the state executives, the state Deputy Chairman, Mr Samaila Tadawus lauded the support of party members particularly the governor for the fresh mandate given them to lead the party.

Tadawus pledged that the new party leaders would work tirelessly for total victory in the 2019 elections.

“We are not going to disappoint the party in working for the reelection of President Buhari and others going to contest on the platform of our great party,” Tadawus said.

Also, the APC Chairman, Mayo-Belwa Local Government, Alhaji Babagida Talase reiterated their commitment to mobilize the electorates at the grassroots for the party ahead of the general elections.

Talase noted that recent defections of politicians from other political parties to APC in the state was a good omen for the party ahead of the general elections.

“We are the first state to promise Buhari of taking the responsibility of buying him nomination form for 2019.

“We are committed to executing that promise to show appreciation for what he did to the state in particular and north east in general in areas of security and empowerment,” Talase said. (NAN)
