The 82 Division Nigerian Army will be hosting this year’s Nigerian Army Regiment Sergeant Majors (RSM) Convention from Monday 21st August 2017- Friday 25th August 2017 at the Auditorium of the Headquarters 82 Division Auditorium, Abakaliki Road, Enugu, Enugu State. The theme for this year’s RSM Convention is “Strengthening the Framework for Discipline and Regimentation for Professional Responsiveness in the Nigerian Army”. The participants have been drawn from formations, training institutions and units of the Nigerian Army.
A statement by Colonel Sagir Musa, Deputy Director Army Public Relations said the convention is an annual training and interactive programme designed to further equip the participants with current professional knowledge to enable them perform their roles effectively and efficiently in the service of the Nigerian Army.
It is also intended to further inculcate and strengthen regimentation, discipline and leadership qualities in the RSM. The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General TY Buratai is expected to declare the occasion open, while senior officers and other eminent personalities will deliver papers.
