Following approval by Governor Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto state, the Sokoto Sultanate Council has deployed four District Heads to different districts.
A statement signed by the Acting Secretary of the Sultanate Council, who is also the Dan Buram Sokoto, Alhaji Saidu stated the District Heads affected to include Alhaji Muhammadu Maiturare (Sarkin Kabbin Yabo) deployed from Yabo to Dandin Mahe District while Alhaji Umaru Lamido (Sarkin Gabas Dandin Mahe) was deployed to Yabo district.
The two others are Alhaji Abdulhameed Balarabe Salihu (Sarkin Gobir, Sabon Birni) who was deployed to Gatawa as Sarkin Kudun Gatawa while Alhaji Isah Mohammad Bawa took over from Salihu as Sarkin Gobir Sabon Birni.
According to the statement, the deployment takes immediate effect.
But the statement did not indicate why these deployments were carried out now.
