Troops Recapture More Towns In Borno ,Kill Boko Haram Terrorists

In continuation with the push to capture Sambisa forest, after the capture of Gwoza and Alagarno forest, troops of 3 and 7 Divisions of the Nigerian Army supported by the Nigerian Air Force, yesterday recaptured Bita,  Izge, Yamteke and Uba towns in Askira Uba and Damboa Local Government Areas of Borno State,Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman ,acting director army public relations   said in a statement.

Colonel Usman disclosed that “During the encounter, one soldier paid the supreme price while 10 others sustained various degrees of injury.

“Similarly, a lot of Boko Haram terrorists were equally killed and recoveries made” the statement said.
